October has arrived, bringing crisp autumn air, colourful leaves, pumpkins, and lots of opportunities for fun and learning! 🍁

Our OOSC children have settled wonderfully into their school-year routines, and we are excited for a month filled with creativity, seasonal activities, outdoor play, friendships, and plenty of autumn adventures.

Throughout October, the children will have opportunities to explore nature, create seasonal art, enjoy sensory activities, listen to fall stories, and make wonderful memories together. 🧡

🍁 A Few Friendly Reminders

Please remember to:

• 🔄 Renew your childcare subsidy if needed.
• 🧥 Send your child in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor play.
• 💧 Bring a labelled water bottle every day.
• 👕 Pack an extra set of labelled clothing for water play and messy activities.

👻🎃 October 30 – Halloween Dress-Up Day

Get ready for some Halloween fun! Children are welcome to come dressed in a costume of their choice for a fun-filled day of Halloween activities and celebrations.

🍂 October Projects & Learning

This month, our little learners will explore the magic of fall through leaves, pumpkins, harvest themes, seasonal art, stories, fine-motor activities, nature exploration, sensory play, and creative projects.

We will encourage the children to use their imagination, ask questions, explore their surroundings, and learn through hands-on experiences.

We are looking forward to a month full of learning, laughter, creativity, and autumn adventures! 🧡

🚌 Important Arrival Reminder

All children must arrive at daycare by 7:40 AM, as the bus will leave promptly at 7:50 AM.
